Coachella & Spring  Festivals... Here we come! 

Coachella, Bonnaroo and Hangout Fest are just around the corner. It's time to start planning things... like your outfit, for one, which will obviously  be trendy af. 

As April and May quickly approach, you can't deny the tiny hipster inside, waiting to be unleashed! While you might not be rocking hemp pants and flower headbands Monday through Friday, they'll surely make their debut this festival season.

But whatever, music festivals mean you can be anything you want to be. You can run around with an oversized watermelon, take a BAJILLION selfies with your best friend and get dehydrated from drinking cheap beer in 90 degree weather. 

Whatever music festival you attend this year, this is YOUR time to make out with a stranger, perhaps with questionable facial hair, to let your inhibitions go and run free.

Throw some "bows" and get to the front of the stage just to blow a kiss to your favorite musician. Find someone to let you sit on their shoulders and land the sickest seat at the festival.

This is the only time in your life you'll get away with speaking hippie, saying “I FEEL the music.” So embrace it! 

Be who you want to be, say what you want to say, dance like no one's watching... you don't know these people!

New Orleans

Running of the Bulls

Make a Statement 

This past weekend, we stopped in New Orleans to run with the Bulls, and by bulls, we mean Roller Derby girls, fully geared and sporting helmets adorned in giant, sometimes glittery, horns. Brandishing whiffle ball bats and rolling through on quad skates, the Bulls come charging through a sea of people to provide a swift whack on the ass, a far less dangerous test of one's wits to it's counterpart in Spain.

                     

After crossing the finish line safely with all parts intact, we cooled off in a bath of bottomless mimosas and rested on a bed of the bayou's best oyster po boy...All while soaking the NOLA's rich history and resilient architecture.Where the crawfish are BIG and the livin' is EASY... if you haven't been, it's worth the visit!

Sport has become a big thing in my life and it has inspired my choice of wardrobe. You may say this makes me look too much like a tennis player but I say: So what? Love all.

No Lie...

See?  I finally got to put my hand into the Boca della Verita and it didn't chomp my digits off!  Like I said at the beginning of my recent Roman excursion, "Roman Holiday" is one of my favourite films of all time.  Last year in Rome, SB and I tried to hit up all of the spots featured in the film, but ran out of time for this one.  We walked to it and saw it, but the line was wrapped around the building and we just had to move on.   

This year, we got a morning to ourselves and dedicated it solely to stopping by the Boca (and of course, there was essentially no line).  The story behind this guy started during the Middle Ages when some genius (or collection of geniuses) started spreading the rumor that if a liar placed his/her hand in the mouth, it would be bitten off.  There was also another story having to do with a poem written by Virgil about an adulteress who tricked her husband into believing that he hadn't been cuckolded by placing her hand in the mouth and withdrawing it intact.    

In any case, it's darn cool.  Figuratively and literally.  This was the coolest place we visited all day.    

Since there were no lines at the Boca, we wandered around a bit.  Looked friendly enough that a Canadian tourist asked us to help her find her hotel (which we did… figured we needed to pay it forward since we hitchhiked in Malta on our last trip and survived to tell the tale), and then shared a giant slice of watermelon in one of the most picturesque little squares I think I've ever seen.

Romwe :  Ooo, so yesterday I got another package from Romwe!  

So, I thought I would do a review on the ultra cute clothes I received.

As usual, I ordered with free postage and it came in just over 3 weeks. It came safely packaged in a green postage bag and all the items were in secure Romwe bags.

So, let's start with the "Letter Print Striped T-shirt" This is what it looked like after I had taken it out of the package:

Very much like the stock image! It feels exactly like I thought it would, it's very soft inside and is really thick, which is perfect for this weather! I was surprised by the "usa !" text, it's like a towel material and is really soft.it comes on many   many sizes, and it fits me fine.

It's really good quality and I have nothing negative to say for this product. It's a a super cute and I'm really happy with it! It's perfect for street style looks too!

Vintage Black Leather Bracelet & Brown Button Leather Bracelet. So this is what it looks like out of the package. It does look like the stock image. i love                                       accessories , i can't imagine my self going out without wearing them...

Overall I'm really happy with my items again! They are really cute and I'm going to wear them so much!
